General Manager - Victoria
As General Manager for Victoria, my job is to oversee all operations in Melbourne to ensure seamless event delivery and effective business processes.
In the past, I have been heavily involved in theatre production, performing numerous roles from technician to stage manager to makeup artist. My diverse experience in the theatre realm prepared me for my current career in the event production industry, and I have been with the team since 2001.
I enjoy mentoring my team members, enabling them to take ownership and be creative to deliver amazing events for our clients. I strive to foster an environment in which my staff feel empowered to make their own decisions, providing them with the tools necessary to guide their own teams to successfully achieve their objectives.
However, after nearly two decades in the events industry, I have learnt that any team who is satisfied only by success will inevitably fall short. I am a firm believer that a team only achieves true success when all members are passionate about the projects they work hard to deliver.
I would class my management style as open and participative; I want my talented peers to become the best version of themselves.
Catrina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Theory & Practice from Western Sydney University.
