Encore Event Technologies (previously Staging Connections) was tasked with the unique job of creating a flawless and welcoming atmosphere for Basma and Mohammad’s opulent and unforgettable wedding reception for 201 special guests at the Langham Auckland. The spectacularly beautiful reception, would be complemented and enhanced by the pink and purple décor via creative use of lighting and drapery.
The Encore team transformed the Langham Auckland’s Great Room through creative lighting design comprising of vibrant coloured up-lighting, pin-spots and spot lights throughout the room. The coloured pin-spots and spot lights were used to highlight key features throughout the event, from the happy newlyweds, to the impressive centrepieces, and elegant golden cutlery, providing a wow factor to the vibrantly themed atmosphere. Our friends at La Lumiere created the custom backdrop and provided stunning silky white drapes which added to the memorable event experience.
The team provided the use of follow spotlights, allowing key moments throughout the night to be highlighted and witnessed by all, from the entrance of the newly married couple to the first dance and speeches – not normally offered at weddings, this was a special add-on that made all the difference to the happy couple.
Encore was able to work with the Langham to produce a special evening for over 200 guests that provided a unique, vibrant and memorable setting for the reception.
The Great Room was unrecognisable as all elements came together seamlessly through a collaboration of suppliers to deliver a vivacious and stylish space, the client was extremely happy with the results and the service that Encore provided in the lead up to the big day.
