Encore’s Sssss’sensational delivery of the Taipans’ Gala Dinner 2025
Encore has maintained a longstanding relationship with the Taipans, delivering their annual gala dinner since 2018. Held at the Pullman Cairns International, this event serves as the end-of-season awards night, celebrating the contributions of players, sponsors, volunteers, and the broader community. This year’s gala embraced the theme of the Chinese Year of the Snake, incorporating symbolic red and blue lighting and a dramatic LED wall featuring blinking snake eyes. The visual impact was enhanced with gobos projecting patterns on the walls and a dynamic snakeskin projection on the ceiling.
Encore also utilised draping, colored uplighting, and moving lights to create a captivating atmosphere. This year a smaller VIP guest list of approximately 170 attendees were invited elevating the prestige of the event. The Taipans provided custom chair covers, themed centerpieces, and multimedia content, including player animations and award presentations all adding to the engaging stage program.
Encore supported the technical production, offering AV equipment and creative design input. VIPs included local government representatives and notable community figures, with entertainment provided by a DJ.
The event also featured an auction of signed memorabilia and player photos. Client feedback was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting Encore’s creativity, ease of collaboration, and commitment to delivering visually stunning experiences. The Taipans value Encore’s dedication to enhancing their community-focused celebration year after year.
