1000 guests in 3 waves across 12 events equals 1 massive incentive road show. Leading Indian event company Encompass Events, approached Encore (formerly Staging Connections) to produce and deliver the Asian Paints Privilege Club Incentive Event Series.
The event series was held in various venues in Sydney and the Gold Coast with the aim of strengthening personal ties within the Privilege Club and reward the Asian Paints staff for their hard work and commitment. The theme was ‘Ultimates’ and Staging Connections were tasked with bringing this to life throughout each of the 12 events including the Welcome function, team building and social events, the grand conference and closing Gala dinner.
The incentive gave our Sydney and Gold Coast teams the opportunity to collaborate and produce a truly unforgettable experience through a complete event staging solution. It was a masterful celebration of everything we love; from design to delivery, including production and stage management, logistics, audio visual, styling, design and even interactive technologies.
We partnered with the Gold Coast Business Events team to showcase everything the Gold Coast has to offer as part of the This Is Gold Coast Business Exchange. The three day event saw over 200 conference decision-makers, including PCOs, corporate buyers, media and suppliers flock to the glistening Gold Coast and Encore were there to provide a memorable experience. Encore worked across several events, creating a welcoming, Commonwealth Games themed famil, for delegates that promotes the capabilities of the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove. At Sea World Resort our teams worked with our venue partners to showcase their spacious new Plaza and incredible Dolphin Beach. Encore created an exciting festival atmosphere for these venues through the use of colourful lighting and sound systems suitable for outdoor events.
On the 16th February the Arena of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre hosted nearly 1000 club VIPs and guests. The sheer size of the venue made it possible to design, create and deliver a stunning Gala Dinner setting and live silent auction. The client required that we simultaneously display video and animated multimedia, as well as live camera feed onto the various screens on stage, which is a challenge that our technical team love to rise to. The theme for this year’s gala was Purple and Gold, and what better way to bring that to life than through an indulgent Scrumdiddlyumptious Chocolate theme. Being one of the club’s major fundraising events for the year, we needed to deliver a high impact, engaging experience, with the keenest eye on every detail to ensure a truly memorable event.
Encore wowed VIP guests with an imaginative and artistic lighting and projection show, at a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience for the Dom Pérignon Lumiere Dinner.
The table and plate settings were brought to life with creative animations projected onto them anad even personalised projected place settings.
The creative content consistent of Dom Pérignon branded graphics and emotive swirls of colour within the custom animations which conveyed the elegance of the brand in a captivating display. The venue was styled in sophisticated black and white with Dom Pérignon illuminated logos.
Dancers in LED outfits entertained guests before dinner and a helmet clad DJ and stirring cellist provided entertainment during and after the event.

“Precision was the key, and the team worked hard to ensure cutlery, glassware and plates were all aligned to the bespoke animations, to maximise the visual effect.
Both our in-house team and extended technical experts rehearsed the timings to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
The high calibre of this client meant it was vital to get the presentation perfect; our client and our team are both thrilled with the results,” said Ms Saville.
Our Auckland team had the pleasure of partnering with Vista New Zealand to deliver a stunning gala dinner at Eden Park. Using a combination of audio visual effects, lighting and styling we were able to transform the venue into a New Zealand themed experience – paying homage to the beautiful country across the ditch.
The ONJ Gala event, held as an annual celebration of the Olivia NewtonJohn Cancer Wellness and Research Centre’s worthy achievements, also acts as an integral fundraiser to support the continued Wellness and Supportive Care Programs that complement medical treatment, helping patients through their cancer journey.
Austin Health again partnered with Encore to ensure that Melbourne’s Crown Palladium ballroom was perfectly anointed with all of the necessary technical and design aspects of the event – set to a glitzy ‘Masquerade Ball’ theme.
The Encore team worked closely with suppliers to create a remarkable and truly special occasion, integrating the theme into the event design using audio visual, styling, multimedia design, lighting and staging.
Over 460 attendees gathered at the impressive Brisbane City Hall to raise funds and awareness for the Lord Mayor’s grants programs, providing much-needed assistance to deserving charities across the city. As the onsite event services provider at Brisbane City Hall with EPICURE, Staging Connections created a glittering evening for the Office of the Lord Mayor, a valued client of over four years. Building upon the incredible efforts of 2016, the team executed innovative and breathtaking custom designed technical displays to bring to life this year’s whimsical vision, ‘There’s No Place Like Oz’.
Guests were treated to a dazzling ‘theatrically-themed’ evening at this year’s Canberra Business Chamber (CBC) annual Gala Dinner. Held at the National Convention Centre, Encore was tasked with delivering the extravaganza for the ninth year running. The guests were immersed in a captivating setting using animated projection mapping, lighting effects and elegant styling amongst other design elements. Adding to the visual delights, guests were also entertained with an exquisite performance by the Woden Youth choir and an acrobatic aerialist, who dazzled on silk elevated above the main stage, surrounded by 18 white lycra columns. Encore designed the audio visual and styling elements using a mix of screens, projectors, a CBC-branded gobo light, spotlighting, and projection mapping. As the evening progressed, the Encore team continued to inject life and atmosphere into the room by tailoring the animated projections and lighting during the evening’s performances and presentations.

Over 400 delegates enjoyed the two-day conference enjoying various plenaries, break-out sessions, a tour of the MCG, leader’s forum, cocktail function and more, culminating in the esteemed 24th Annual AVCAL Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner.
