Exciting job opportunity for a motivated Manager of Event Operations in Sydney

The Manager of Event Operations is responsible for the overall daily management of inventory planning, rostering and people management within our prestige venue partner’s events. You will ensure operational excellence in every event.

What we're looking for:

  • Advanced working knowledge of audio, visual and lighting equipment
  • Review and develop event proposals in co-ordination with sales, ensure accurate equipment and labour specification
  • Develop and maintain weekly roster for technicians
  • Build strong relationships with labour vendors in conjunction with Venue Manager
  • Lead crew on larger events when required (set ups, pack-downs, show call and operates)
  • Stock control, ensure all inventory is in good working order and available for events
  • Order and maintain stock levels of consumables
  • Review capital expenditure with Venue Manager
  • Attend operational meetings with venue as required

Essential Criteria

  • Proven management or supervisory experience
  • Experience in audio-visual equipment operation
  • Proven event management and/or technical direction skills
  • Trained and proficient in safe manual handling practices
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Immediate start available.
Salary Range – $70 -$80K + Super
